Who: Anyone wanting to try yoga for the first time.
Why: To introduce yoga to those who don't know where to start. We will be focusing on foundation and going slow to get base knowledge as this is super important when learning. Our sessions will bring a connection between yoga and mental health which will be woven throughout the practice. Please wear comfy clothing and bring a water bottle. Yoga mats are not required but bring one if you would like!
When: Friday afternoons.

Who: All ages are welcome. For anyone who struggles with social anxiety and wants to connect with others who do as well by relating strategies and sharing experiences.
Why: To provide strategies for social anxiety while moving our bodies. This group will be facilitated by a registered psychologist who will be providing different strategies to help with anxiety.
Price: $20 drop in fee. Payment must be sent before the time of the group to email@example.com

Where: Fish Creek Park - The upper parking lot off of Sun Valley Blvd (see pin location)
When: Thursday August 10th from 4:30- 5:30pm
Where: North Glenmore Park - Parking lot A
Who: Women who have experienced domestic violence - who are currently going through the court procedures and are looking for either support, and/or wanting to share their journey.
What: a support group for women who have experienced domestic violence/intimate partner violence. Life after DV is a journey of healing- which is empowering as it is triggering. This group is designed to bring women together in Calgary. The idea is to share and offer support to those going through the court system after abuse.
Why: Life after domestic violence can be complicated. The court procedures can be very overwhelming and emotionally taxing; the idea of this group is to bring women together who are experiencing separation/divorce after domestic violence and needing to find a sense of community. It can feel so isolating: you are not alone.
Where: The Practice Calgary, 5010 Richard Rd SW, Suit 330.
When: First Group Begins: Thursday August 17th, 2023 from 6:30pm-8pm the group will be facilitated by a Psychologist who has experience within the DV sector.
